Important News from the Executive Director
Earlier this week, the Susan G. Komen 3-Day™ announced it will not be returning to Cleveland in 2014. While we are saddened to see the 3-Day leave, these changes do not impact our Affiliate, Susan G. Komen Northeast Ohio. We remain committed to serving the local community and to our annual events including the Akron Race for the Cure and the Cleveland Race for the Cure.

KOMEN NORTHEAST OHIO TO PROVIDE OVER $900,000 IN LOCAL GRANTS
Most people recognize the Komen name from the Race for the Cure and other popular fundraising events. The bulk of the money raised supports worthy organizations and efforts to improve breast health and save lives across 22 Northeast Ohio counties. This year, the Northeast Ohio Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure® is contributing over $900,000 to 11 local organizations for projects supporting its promise to end breast cancer forever..
