METAvivor: Metastatic Breast Cancer Support Group
METAvivor is an organization dedicated to the specific fight of women and men living with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. METAvivor brings attention to the specific issues of stage 4 metastatic breast cancer, and raise public awareness about the facts of the disease. Certified Peer-to-Peer Support Group leaders in the Cleveland area invite anyone who has metastatic breast cancer, Stave IV breast cancer, or breast cancer that has spread to participate in monthly support group meetings. Support group meetings allow metastatic fighters to share experiences, resources, ideas on coping and managing side effects, and building a circle of friends who “get it”… a circle where everyone understands each other cause you all walk in the same shoes.
Details for the next Cleveland METAvivor support group meeting are forthcoming. Please email Carol at clsmit@att.net for more information.
